LINO PRINTING WORKSHOP - Learn to lino print with MegaLilyDesign - VARIOUS DATES AVAILABLE

Have you ever wanted to learn the art of making linocut prints? Why not come along to this class and learn to print with the lovely Alexandra from MegaLilyDesign.

Using your own or one of Alex’s templates, you will learn to transfer the image, carve it from the lino block and print with professional oil based inks onto beautiful Japanese washi papers.

The workshops are suitable for beginners and those with some experience of lino printing. All equipment is provided and you will keep the block you create so that you will be able to continue your lino journey after the class.

On booking you will be sent clear instructions on the size of design to bring along and things to consider when creating your design, as well as directions to the studio.

As you will be using oil based inks, your prints will need to dry over a few days and you can either collect your prints or, if you are coming from further afield, they can be sent to you. Alex will mount one of your prints in a professional mount once they are dry so that it is ready for framing.

The workshops run between 10am - 1.30pm and the dates available so far for 2024 are:
