Symbolising everlasting love and constancy this delicate sterling silver bluebell is magical. Coupled with a vibrant water sapphire gemstone (also known as Iolite) this necklace is an eternal reminder of the beauty of spring.

This is one of my favourite pieces and it started off as an experiment.

During bluebell season a couple of years ago I painted a real bluebell with layers of silver clay paste. I gradually built up the layers until I was sure that I had a nice thick layer of silver on the flower (which had started to dry and curl up) which I then fired in my kiln. On firing the flower burnt away leaving me with this wonderful replica of the original flower. I then had a mould made from my fine silver master and now cast these beautiful little flowers in sterling silver for everyone to enjoy.

Dimensions: the charm is approx. 1.2cm long (including the jump rings) x 1.3cm wide (at its widest points). The gemstone measures approximately 0.5cm in diameter.

Materials: sterling silver pendant, 16” diamond cut curb chain and water sapphire (Iolite) gemstone.
