Jewellery making classes

Fancy learning a new craft?

Why not come along and enjoy a morning taster session in the studio learning all about precious metal clay and trying your hand at the craft. During the session (10am-1pm-ish) you'll learn the following:

The science behind Precious Metal Clay (PMC)

The different types of PMC

How to roll PMC to a consistent thickness

Using textures to pattern the clay

Cutting the clay using cutters

Making holes in the clay

Refining dry PMC

Hand firing PMC

Polishing PMC

At the end of the morning you will leave with one finished piece of jewellery and enough PMC to make another piece of jewellery at home.

The three+ hours taster course includes 5.6g of PMC Flex, two sterling silver jump rings, tea, coffee, juice and as many yummy cookies and sloppy dog kisses as you can handle throughout the morning.
